Memory Loss
Klex found himself awake inside a hospital, unknown of his current location, he simply lay there, watching the world pass him, watching the doctors and nurses move from patient to patient, seemingly endlessly, pacing back and forth, never throwing him a glance unless he was the one that pressed the little green help button.
After several days he was deemed suitable to leave the hospital but Klex kept arguing the doctors and nurses, “No I'm not. I can't remember myself! Who am i?” He yelled and thrashed around as he fought against them, “No I don't know where i'm going! Help me.” He kept calling out. It was always enough to keep him another day. Until it wasn't.
He argued against them all again and fought against their desires to kick him on the street. He just couldn't keep fighting them and soon found himself walking empty handed out of the hospital, with nothing at all, empty pawed. Broke and hungry.
He looked around the streets, squinting as the sun glared against his body and he moved a hand to his eyes and looked around the area, clueless of his current location as he sighed softly, moving towards the first Viscet he saw, “Excuse me. Where am I?”
The viscet threw him a sharp, annoyed look, “Look for a sign.” Klex was taken back by the rude attitude of the other viscet and pinned his ears to his head as he moved around, getting similar responses from several others before he found a bench and flopped against it, throwing his head backwards as he sighed softly.
“You are in a small town outside of the big city,” someone spoke and Klex lifted his head back up and glanced her over, her grey markings on a white base but more importantly was her blue mane and over all markings. It was such a nice blue, lighter than his own blue but still such a pretty blue.
He blinked a moment and she gave him a look, unsure of the situation at hand, she offered a warm smile, her shyness leaking out in that one small moment and Klex stood from his chair and watched her, “Thank you. No one around here wants to help.” He said softly and watched her still.
She moved back slightly and nodded, “That's because most people around here know where they are.” She said simply, turning her eyes from him and preparing to walk away before he moved in and touched her shoulder, causing the female viscet to jump slightly, turning herself to look at him again, “Can I help further?”
“Ive lost my memory. I don't know where i am or know if I have anywhere to go,” He said simply, giving her a look, unsure himself how she would be able to help him but maybe. He was desperate and needed help. She was the only one who offered him a location, maybe she could help further.
She gave him a look and sighed softly, unable to think of a wait out of it, “You can stay with me tonight and maybe we can find out a little about you. Do you know your name?” She said simply as she looked at him, waving a paw to insist he follow her, “My names Adonia.”
Klex looked at her and then down at his legs for a moment and then looked at her again, “Are you sure? Even just a hotel…” He stopped mid sentence, remembering the whole, ‘Owns nothing’. “Uhh.. never mind. Thank you.” He smiled again and walked with her as he moved his paw to his head and rubbed it slightly, “Probably the only thing i do remember. Its Klex.”
Adonia looked at him for a short moment and she smiled again, “Nice to meet you. Hopefully we can get this memory of yours sorted out.” She said simply and looked forward and walked towards a small house and she pulled out a set of keys and opened the house, motioning him inside with a paw.
Klex moved into the house first, looking back to ensure the viscet was following, slightly nerved by her kind behaviour, somehow he knew he wasn't use to kindness but still no memories of his life existed in his brain. He was memory less.
